Because photo and video taking policies in public in the Phili-f*cking-ppines has become ridiculous to the point of it being irrational in so many levels and metalevels, yes I have decided to get myself a point and shoot, a compact one at that!
It’s a Canon PowerShot SX260 HS (which is the GPS capable version of the SX240 HS, not that I’ll be utilizing it but the latter was out of stock or something).
So many dials to play with o__O
Also, 20x optical zoom times 4x digital zoom for a total of 80 something times of concert zooming.
I am also digging the green AF assist lamp o___O
I was choosing between a Lumix ZS20, this, and a Sony HX30v (all superzoom compacts, most places don’t allow bridge cameras as well) but this one was already available in black and the seller had a crazy cheap deal on it.
and as promised, a shot of my camera (not from the said helicopter though)
I have yet to try the zoom under low light but it seems to be functioning well. I know the biggest aperture is only 3.5 but at least it’s less blurry than 3.1-3.3 — Also need an extra battery pack lol for maximum concert documentation.

My current contact lenses (Dueba Barbie Girly Chip Soy Latte / G&G Blossom Brown) were apparently more than 100 below my actual grade and i want to see the world bright and clear so i just had to get ones in -3.75! Japanesecandy has been my go-to shop for circle lenses because they ship super fast, they accept payments via Unionbank online transfer (less hassle) and they have loads of lenses on hand. They were running a sale so i got this pair for only P340, inclusive of shipping! Sadly though they didn’t have natural looking browns for my tastes. :( i had to settle with this, Dueba (Sweety) Gossip Gray.

The pattern on it looks super subtle on the case as the limbal ring is a faint black-grey. The material itself is pretty thin and comfy.

i think these may be one of the fakest looking contact lenses i have ever worn. still pretty though, from afar, but when i check myself on the mirror i creep myself out. definitely not for close encounters with males / dates / and normal people.

I was surprised that this sold for only P350! I thought lashes from this brand cost P600++
I’ve heard good stuff about the brand but never really bothered to try it because i was once cheap and i don’t really need falsies as my lashes are long and thick on their own. But since December is a time for Christmas parties…..
I got 120 Demis because they were the ones that appealed to me the most. :D Then later when i got home, I found out that these are the exact same lashes that Jess from New Girl (Zooey Deschanel) is wearing on the show! (more about that here.)
Ardell lashes are made from 100% clean human hair, so they blend in! They are also significantly lighter, and my favorite thing about them is that they’re not shiny, unlike those cheapo synthetic hair lashes that reflect like 100% of the light fired from flash.
L-R: with and without. Zooey’s makeup artist Jorjee Douglass suggests to cut these in three for easier application but im scurred to do that by myself!
i prefer wearing mine closer to the outer corner because my eyes are small. Big pancake eyed girls like Zooey can wear them on the center.
i’m going back to buy their lash accents (the wispy lashes for the outer corners only) and some lash glue because my previous one dried up!

i bought a travel size tube for the sake of testing it… and by the looks of it i think i better buy a full size one soon!!! （-＾〇＾-）
The UDPP (as it is commonly referred to) is an eyeshadow base, basically you smooth this onto your lids before applying eyeshadow for flawless application and 24-hour color payoff.
The travel size bottle is only 3.7ml :D

The product itself is a sheer, velvety slick smooth butter that is absorbed (or dries? idk) easily.
with UDPP, application is soooo much easier! chalky eyeshadows become buttery and silky. Colors pop and the vibrance pushed to the limits!! Brushing on some eye color onto the lids becomes hassle-free and smooth! (◕‿◕✿)

the travel size tubes cost around P450 (but i got it for cheaper :P) and the full size ones stretch from P1000 - P2000 (professional size — just like a tube of toothpaste!!)（ ＾ ᴗ＾）

I was looking for something to add to my purchase (oil absorbing sheets, lol) so i can use my debit card to pay when i came upon this:
They have three colors, this is 01 Frosted Brown. They also have a chocolate brown (MAC Beguile anyone?) and a lighter, tawny blonde-taupe 03 Frosted Light Brown, which was way tooooo light. （＾～＾）
Side by side with MAC Girl Boy, Jazzy EBG (eyebrow gel) is smaller. The color is fairly similar in the tube, only MAC Girl Boy is a wee bit lighter and golder.
on skin: Girl Boy is more golden warmer. JC Frosted Brown is a bit more peach and unsaturated. JC is runnier and more liquid.
on brows: do you even see the difference?? haha! MAC is actually a bit more creamy and more even when applied (since it has less shimmer). JC fares well, mind you! Very pigmented and at P299, you won’t shed a tear! （⌒ヮ⌒）
Although, i don’t know how if you’d see it as a pro or con, Jazzy EBG is reallllly hard to remove. Really!! I had to rub in some Etude House makeup remover cream for about a minute to remove it. MAC is easily removed by wet wipes. (≧σ≦)
So yes, not a bad buy for 300! :D

I thought the compact was actually made out or tin or some other metal but really, it’s just silver-colored plastic. The label too is a sticker so i best keep this away from oils, i like my stuff looking pretty! (✿◠‿◠)

The powder is a neutral, honey shimmer. It’s not as shimmery as my other highlighter though, which is a plus because it reduces the illusion of being oily. Sometimes when powders are too shimmery, it tends to make the skin look too shiny! *:･ﾟ✧
the powder is tad bit peach-er in person but the shimmer is translucent.
super blendable too.
Highly pigmented, not super sparkly, super sheen-y! So glad i went there while they had stocks because, the last time I went there they were all out ⊙﹏⊙

Note: This review is EXTREMELY overdue （´∀｀ ） I’ve hit the pan!
I know, the name might be vulgar to some but this shade and brand has won billions of awards for being awesome. On the website, it is described as a “peachy pink with golden shimmer” which is pretty much accurate.
(i had to reuse the photos from another blush because the Orgasm compact is now really icky!!)
On the pan:
I think I hit the pan a few months ago, never touched it since then. I used this blush during internship, even when I’m not supposed to wear makeup! (≧ ∇ ≦) Even in Batangas CHDP!!

Orgasm is light and pink and shimmery. It has a healthy golden sheen to it. Perfect with a summer tan on me! ( ऀืົཽ 3 ऀืົཽ )✧

The moment i sniffed this at the store I knew I wanted to get this. Salvatore Ferragamo’s most popular scent from the Incanto series: Charms.

Incanto Charms limited edition is a floral-fruity fantasy, sweet and colorfull. It opens with passionfruit and honeysuckle. At its heart, a perfect union of Turkish rose and jasmine. Woody-musky trail is light and comfortable. It was created by Beatrice Piquet in 2006.
THE SCENT. When i first smelled it i thought it’s very similar to its sister Shine, but a bit more masculine. Lathery soap with a hint of jasmine and musk. Although i HATE jasmine and musk, this one’s a winner. There’s a certain sourness brought about by the passionfruit but still lathered in floral soap thanks to the turkish rose and jasmine. At the bottom are wood and musk.
THE PACKAGING. It was only available in testers :( I wanted to get the full bottle but i realized i don’t have space for boxes anymore plus the cap was exactly as Shine. The cap is useless anyway because it comes off so easily.
For an Eau De Toilette, this one lingers. Kev said he likes it! :”>

I was looking for a bronzer/contouring powder to practice with (because i’m pale as hell right now, thanks to the constant raining) when I stumbled upon ELF Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzer duo. This used to be only available in one shade but apparently they now call the original “St. Lucia”. It cost me only 249.75php, not bad for something to practice with. ヽ(*・ω・)ﾉ
The palette is pretty big, as shown below side by side with the ELF Studio Blush and a fullsize NARS Blush (which is now really dirty, i hate NARS’ packaging, the rubber melts and gathers powders! ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ )
Inside is a pretty big mirror. The packaging is flimsy plastic and i feel like im gonna break it each time i open it. The pans are actually bigger than the NARS blush and bronzer duo.
with flash:
The blush is a dusty peachy pink with fine gold sheen and shimmer. The bronzer is a dusty brown with the same kind of shimmer.
Compared to NARS Orgasm, the blush in St. Lucia is chalkier, lighter, and dustier.

the bronzer may sometimes appear reddish, idk why.
on my face it kinda shows well. it was actually dark when i took this so, i swear in person it’s flushier and the contour is more visible.
For 250, this aint bad. I think this one’s going on my to-bring purse! (◡‿◡✿)
