"Guts", a short story by Chuck Palahniuk »

A chapter from Chuck Palahniuk’s book, “Haunted”. WIWIWIWIWIWIWWWWW!!!

Where to start.

2012 to-reads, 1st Quarter.

My iPad is starting to make sense now.

And to those of you soulless pirates wondering where i get my ebooks, this has been my method since… 2001. Trust me, they have everything. then again, it kills the industry so use at your own risk and conscience:

  1. get mIRC.
  2. connect via the Undernet server.
  3. on the main window, type /join #bookz
  4. go to Tools>Options>DCC>on send request:Auto-get file>Ignore>Method:disable>uncheck ‘turn back on in:’
  5. type @find ______ (ex: @find Trainspotting)
  6. a bot will send you a personal message. copy the code (ex: !nensi Welsh, Irvine - Trainspotting epub (v5.0).rar) and paste it on the #bookz window. hit enter.
  7. you will be put on queue. wait for your turn and for download to start. It may take seconds to hours, depending on how many people are on queue.
  8. ????
  9. PROFIT

should’ve been more effective had i read this last night but i was too sleepy having to stay up watching that excuse for a halloween special show, which only got me frustrated for not giving me terror orgasm.
neways, here’s a halloween scanlation from my favorite horror mangaka ever. one shot and hanging, the way it’s meant to be.

can’t believe i watched these movies over the past week, when our innernets failed.

I remember watching Audition back in highschool and branding it the best asian horror film minus the ghosts. Really. No ghosts!
A man holds an ‘audition’ for a next wife, hiding it under the idea of being a casting call for some production. Finds the perfect, dainty girl, who isn’t as perfect (or dainty) as she seems. A quirky romantic beginning unfolds to a batshit intense psycho thrilling cat in a bag eating vomit and amputated body parts.

Just finished reading Uzumaki by horror mangaka Junji Ito, thrice as awesome as the movie.
Three books, around five chapters each, each chapter a different story but with the same main characters and POV.
The first volume is the mildest with a moderate shot of weird and WTF (Was That Funny?), the second volume is where Ito’s love for blood and flesh and decay (and icky icky poo) kicks in (my favorite), and the third is where his talent for synthesizing and sewing-up the relationship between the stories comes in (Spiral-built village FTW!!)
Watch out for: body distortion, spirals, many deaths, craving for attention, jumping corpses, eating things that arent meant to be eaten, giant snails, an awful lot that hadnt been featured in the movie deserves justice plz

forgot to mention that i finished Junji Ito’s Gyo last week (instead of reviewing for my CLAP exam), i thought Gyo was long but nah. Or is it just me. And that time stops when i read Junji Ito.
Watch out for: Corpses, Fish, Biological Warfare, the Mysteries of the Earth, Demanding Girlfriend, Stinky stinky poo
