I was surprised that this sold for only P350! I thought lashes from this brand cost P600++
I’ve heard good stuff about the brand but never really bothered to try it because i was once cheap and i don’t really need falsies as my lashes are long and thick on their own. But since December is a time for Christmas parties…..

I got 120 Demis because they were the ones that appealed to me the most. :D Then later when i got home, I found out that these are the exact same lashes that Jess from New Girl (Zooey Deschanel) is wearing on the show! (more about that here.)
Ardell lashes are made from 100% clean human hair, so they blend in! They are also significantly lighter, and my favorite thing about them is that they’re not shiny, unlike those cheapo synthetic hair lashes that reflect like 100% of the light fired from flash.

L-R: with and without. Zooey’s makeup artist Jorjee Douglass suggests to cut these in three for easier application but im scurred to do that by myself!
i prefer wearing mine closer to the outer corner because my eyes are small. Big pancake eyed girls like Zooey can wear them on the center.

i’m going back to buy their lash accents (the wispy lashes for the outer corners only) and some lash glue because my previous one dried up!

i bought a travel size tube for the sake of testing it… and by the looks of it i think i better buy a full size one soon!!! (-^〇^-)

The UDPP (as it is commonly referred to) is an eyeshadow base, basically you smooth this onto your lids before applying eyeshadow for flawless application and 24-hour color payoff.

The travel size bottle is only 3.7ml :D
…and my newfound love for American cosmetics unfolds.. ≖‿≖

The product itself is a sheer, velvety slick smooth butter that is absorbed (or dries? idk) easily.

with UDPP, application is soooo much easier! chalky eyeshadows become buttery and silky. Colors pop and the vibrance pushed to the limits!! Brushing on some eye color onto the lids becomes hassle-free and smooth! (◕‿◕✿)

will post a more in-depth review when my full size arrives.
the travel size tubes cost around P450 (but i got it for cheaper :P) and the full size ones stretch from P1000 - P2000 (professional size — just like a tube of toothpaste!!)( ^ ᴗ^)

I was looking for something to add to my purchase (oil absorbing sheets, lol) so i can use my debit card to pay when i came upon this:

They have three colors, this is 01 Frosted Brown. They also have a chocolate brown (MAC Beguile anyone?) and a lighter, tawny blonde-taupe 03 Frosted Light Brown, which was way tooooo light. (^~^)

Side by side with MAC Girl Boy, Jazzy EBG (eyebrow gel) is smaller. The color is fairly similar in the tube, only MAC Girl Boy is a wee bit lighter and golder.

on skin: Girl Boy is more golden warmer. JC Frosted Brown is a bit more peach and unsaturated. JC is runnier and more liquid.

on brows: do you even see the difference?? haha! MAC is actually a bit more creamy and more even when applied (since it has less shimmer). JC fares well, mind you! Very pigmented and at P299, you won’t shed a tear! (⌒ヮ⌒)
Although, i don’t know how if you’d see it as a pro or con, Jazzy EBG is reallllly hard to remove. Really!! I had to rub in some Etude House makeup remover cream for about a minute to remove it. MAC is easily removed by wet wipes. (≧σ≦)
So yes, not a bad buy for 300! :D

I have just found my HG luminizer / highlighter / illuminator! ( ऀืົཽ ヮ ऀืົཽ )✧

from theBalm website:
Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow. layer it on your lids for luxe-looking lashes, sweep it on your cheeks for a sexy sheen or use it as an all-over finishing touch before you head out for the night.

yes, it only costs P895! so much bang for the buck!

I thought the compact was actually made out or tin or some other metal but really, it’s just silver-colored plastic. The label too is a sticker so i best keep this away from oils, i like my stuff looking pretty! (✿◠‿◠)

There’s a big mirror inside..

The powder is a neutral, honey shimmer. It’s not as shimmery as my other highlighter though, which is a plus because it reduces the illusion of being oily. Sometimes when powders are too shimmery, it tends to make the skin look too shiny! *:・゚✧

the powder is tad bit peach-er in person but the shimmer is translucent.

super blendable too.

Highly pigmented, not super sparkly, super sheen-y! So glad i went there while they had stocks because, the last time I went there they were all out ⊙﹏⊙

and oh! BTW I got this from Beauty Bar, Trinoma. ( ^ ᴗ^)

i couldn’t control it, it was on sale!! I got this for only P250 :D This is the same as Coastal Scents’ Camo Quad Color Correct, but this one’s generic (but we all know brands like Coastal Scents, Dollface, Suesh, etc get their palettes from China, brand them, and sell them at immensely irrational prices).
This is quite bigger than i expected. The case is flimsy plastic and I’m betting that the hinge will come loose sooner or later.

it comes in four primary color correcting shades: mint green, sky blue, lavender, and pale yellow.

From CS:
Our innovative Color Corrector Quad contains four creamy hues to conceal and correct any flaw. All four shades are stored in our travel friendly compact and can be easily applied with any concealer brush in your collection.
- The mint green shade counteracts redness from rosacea, blemishes, or capillaries around the nose and cheek areas.
- The pale yellow shade is used to conceal black, blue, or purple imperfections such as bruises.
- The lavender shade evens out yellowish skin tones, corrects olive skin, and offers an overall balanced finish and healthful glow.
- The sky blue shade counteracts orange tones typically caused from uneven or excessive tanning or self-tanning.

It’s creamy and highly pigmented, mind you. This isn’t supposed to be used as a concealer i.e. slapping it on your blemishes because the color will definitely show. use it as a corrector rather, just dab a bit over whatever you need to hide to mask the color a bit.
The seller also threw in one of these for P50:

a generic eyeshadow cream/ eyelid primer from the same brand (it’s not even a brand). really smooth and buttery. will try it out tomorrow!

Ingredients
Squalane, Octyl Palmitate, Beeswax, Talc, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Petrolatum, Propylparaben. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides.
Dimensions
2.94” in diameter
Net Weight
12.5g / 0.44oz

I walked past the Garnier stall at the department store and saw only one box left of this. I thought ‘heyyyy this shit sells’ so i got a box. Each eye roll-on costs P299. I still can’t get over the fact that I am not crying over things that I wouldn’t have bought years ago because they weren’t in my budget, but PLEASE PLEASE GOD OF SAVINGS AND MONEYHANDLING PLEASE HELP ME FROM BUYING MORE UNNECESSARY THINGS! (^~^)

The box says:
New Garnier Instant Fairness BB Eye Roll-on is the first BB eye roll-on that gives you an amazing fresh look with a single gesture, and offers you a total solution for a fresh look in a flash. Enriched with brightening pure lemon essence and caffeine, well-known for its stimulating properties, its non-creasing formula covers the eye contour skin with mineral pigments for a nude coverage and long lasting-wear. From the first minute, witness the eye contour area looks:
- fairer
- more radiant
- more even-toned
- with less dark circles
- with less dark spots
- fresher
- smoother
- less tired
- more hydrated
- tighten
Now i’m pretty sure that number 10 is a typo (looks tighten? really?)

Obviously the box is about 3x as big as the product, which is very similar to their original eye roll-on (the clear one)

15 mL. not bad.

With the same rollerball…
But different product. The consistency is runny but slick and blendable. It’s really light that I wasn’t sure at first if it really did cover my undereye circles (they’re not bad….), but it did!

unblended and…

blended out, you can barely see it but it provides that medium, natural coverage. The only color available was Natural which seemed dark on the box but did blend well with my actual skintone. (◡‿◡✿)

had to pat it down with some powder to set. :D

( ・◇・)? You might find yourself applying mascara and getting streaks of it in areas you wouldn’t want to put it. The culprit? The stick part of the wand.
This shows you how to bend your mascara wands / brushes so that you can apply your makeup easier. I learned this from a sales guy at the MAC counter the other day. This is also really helpful for brow gels, brow sets, lash serums, and what have you.
1. Get your mascara / brow gel. Pardon me but I am using an old mascara for the sake of this. :D

See that the brush part is a bit bent already, but the stick part of the wand still touches my face and leaves messy marks :<

2. Pull the wand up to the mouth of the tube. The stick part should be out completely.

3. Bend it sideways, gently.

4. ?????
5. PROFIT

Gender bender!
Bent wands give that angled-liner feel. Easier application, less mistakes! (〜 ̄▽ ̄)〜♪

I’ve never really invested on eye makeup because most of them go bad really quickly. Anything that comes in contact with your eyelashes have to be thrown out within three months tops. So i’ve been really cheap with my eye makeup! :D
(also, excuse the bad quality, i used my mom’s waterproof lumix :D SLR’s at the other house)

A while ago I was looking for a cheap liquid liner because i’ve totally given up on my gel liner as an everyday makeup, i use it more for special events and nights out, because it’s a pain in the arse to remove :(

CON: The tip frays after some uses.

CONS: Also, product might leak from too much shaking (you have to shake to get some of the product out.)

still good to practice with, though.

Note the inconsistency of the liquid. color is buildable though.
Nice try for ~130php.

Here’s a tiny multipurpose box with lots of partitions with my falsies in them! I’m biased towards cheap falsies because eyelashes are dirty and they’re supposed to be disposed of pretty quick.
My favorite glue — i don’t know what it’s called but it’s the white opalescent one, that dries really quick!

When my Bambi Almond pair expired prematurely a few days ago, and being eternally blind i just had to get myself a new pair pronto!
Luckily JapaneseCandy always has graded circle lenses on hand! got a -2.25 pair of Dueba’s (Barbie) Girly Chip Soy Latte (Brown!) for P600, shipping included :D was shipped as fast as 1 day!
as always, each lens is in a tiny vial that’s very difficult to open (i broke a nail huhu)

complicated coffee art pattern going on! it’s def brighter and more vivid than my previous lenses, +1!

You really can’t see most of the brown part when it’s against a light surface.. but once you pop them in your eyes…

WOAHZSSZSZ eye color change +10!! flash set to +3.0 so yeap it doesn’t really look as harsh and fake as above under normal light.
Now forgive my no-makeup just came home from work fez in the following photos taken under indoor lighting:

ain’t it darling??? it gives superb color change with a natural pattern and increases iris size too! one more tiemz!

so hihi, imma try it out tomorrow. but it being a Dueba i’ve high hopes for it! will pair it with subtle makeup so i don’t look like a lizard mannequin hybrid :p
